What is
Naturopathy?
Naturopathy is a holistic
method of healing relying on natural medicines, balanced diet and
lifestyle to help your body to heal itself. The emphasis is on the
causes of disease rather than just the symptoms.
What to expect at a
consultation
Time is spent talking about
your current, past and family medical history, diet and lifestyle.
Additional information may also be needed for your assessment such
as iridology, a physical examination, and sometimes referrals for
external testing (e.g. blood).
Once a complete picture of your
current health is established, Emily will determine the most
effective treatments and changes to diet and lifestyle needed to
bring you back to full health. The treatment plan will focus on
addressing the underlying causes of your problem.
Some nutritional and/or herbal
medicines may be prescribed.
